Description

FLIR Cx5 Gas, Vapour, and Dust Thermal Camera

The FLIR Cx5 is a hazardous location-rated thermal camera for use in explosive environments caused by gas, vapour, and dust. With the Cx5 in your toolbox, you will always be ready to investigate mechanical and electrical equipment around your production site.

The camera includes FLIR Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), a handy visual to identify potential problems and to improve plant performance. It also features a 3.5-inch touchscreen that is simple to use, and 160 × 120 (19,200) thermal resolution gives you accurate temperature measurement of nearby targets.

Cx-Series Options

In addition to the FLIR Cx5, the FLIR Cx-Series includes the the entry-level FLIR C3-X and the FLIR C5.

The FLIR C3-X camera features a 128 × 96 (12K pixels) thermal sensor and is designed for building and electrical inspections. For more advanced features the FLIR C5 camera includes a 160 × 120 (19K) pixel resolution, video streaming, zoom capabilities, and a higher temperature range.

FLIR Ignite cloud Storage for Thermal Cameras

Built-in FLIR Ignite cloud software allows the Cx5 direct data transfer, store, and backup images. This tool enable the images to be securely stored on all your devices.

thermal fusion leak detection

What is Thermal Fusion in IR Cameras?

Thermal fusion is a valuable tool in electrical, mechanical, building and other inspections because it combines the heat-detecting power of infrared images with the clarity of visible light images. This feature allows folks who are not used to seeing a thermography report be able to see the infrared image more easily against the background image captured by
