FLIR TG298 Thermal Camera with Spot IR, Bullseye Laser

FLIR TG298 Thermal Camera – 30:1 Spot IR

  • IDENTIFY PROBLEMS QUICKLY

Measure a wide range of temperatures from -25°C to 1030°C with a true 160 × 120 IR pixel imager (19,200 pixels)

  • PRODUCE CRISP THERMAL IMAGES

Diagnose problems faster on extreme heat targets by engaging the high temperature filter over the lens to create a detailed image

  • WORK WITH CONFIDENCE IN RUGGED ENVIRONMENTS

Work from a safe distance to measure high-temperature objects (e.g. a glass furnace) with a portable tool protected by an IP54 enclosure

Description

FLIR TG298 High Temperature 30:1 Spot IR Camera

The FLIR TG298 is a one-of-a-kind industrial diagnostic tool that combines accurate temperature measurement. This advanced thermal camera has a 30:1 spot IR camera with Bullseye laser that is ideal for high-temperature industrial uses up to 1080°C. You can measure the heat of glass furnaces, kilns, forges, and other manufacturing applications.

The TG298 also includes an easy to view 2.4 inch screen that helps reduce diagnostic time and simplifies repair and maintenance reporting.

FLIR Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging

The camera’s patented FLIR Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX) enhancement improves image clarity by embossing visual scene details on full thermal images. The super resolution allows you to upscale images from 160 ×120 to 320 × 240 for superior detail to help you accurately target potential faults and troubleshoot repairs.

FLIR METERLiNK app

The TG298 also includes the FLIR METERLiNK app for:

  • Remote monitoring of measurements
  • Seamless documentation of inspection data
  • Produce comprehensive reports in the field

Seeing the Heat: How Thermal Cameras Reduce Costly Downtime

In the harsh environment of Australian open-cut mining, reliability is everything. Every minute of production counts, and every breakdown has a price tag. For operators of heavy mining equipment, that price can easily run into tens of thousands of dollars per incident — not just in repairs, but in lost production, idle crews, and recovery coordination.
