Description

Driving Vision Enhancement Thermal Camera Solutions

The FLIR Automotive Development Kit (ADK) is a cost-effective way to develop the next generation of automotive thermal vision in driver assistance and autonomous vehicles (AVs).

Thermal infrared cameras are the best sensor technology for pedestrian and animal detection, day or night. The ADK camera provides the critical data needed to improve automated decision-making in vehicle safety functions, including automatic emergency braking (AEB).

The ADK’s rugged, IP67-rated enclosure incorporates a heated window for all-weather driving and the Boson thermal sensor is a fraction of the size of current night vision systems. The FLIR ADK installation is plug and-play with Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link (GMSL), Flat Panel Display Link (FPD-Link), Ethernet, and USB options.
